*Belfast Marathon has been postponed and will now take place on Sunday 20th September 2020*

Go the extra mile to support local people affected by acquired brain injury at this year's Belfast Marathon.
Whether as a relay team member, fun runner, 8 mile walker or 26.2 mile marathon pro, every step you take for Brain Injury Matters will help us support those with brain injury, the leading cause of acquired disability in childhood.

Why take part for BIM?

We are your local charity dedicated to supporting people across Northern Ireland affected by Acquired Brain Injury. Our services include wellbeing groups, counselling and a regional Family First Service dedicated to supporting and empowering the families of children living with ABI.

We do not receive any Government funding and therefore rely on the kindness and generosity of the community, local businesses, families, carers and supporters of the charity to sustain the delivery of our free services to those affected by Acquired Brain Injury throughout Northern Ireland.

Brain Injury is a lifelong chronic condition and is the leading cause of acquired disability in childhood.  Acquiring a brain injury is a life changing event; here at Brain Injury Matters we offer support based on individual needs, age appropriate independence and goals & aspirations for the future.

By supporting Brain Injury Matters you can help us to continue our services and make a positive impact on the lives of children, young adults and adults living with an Acquired Brain Injury.
