Building upon the success of its current strategy “On the Right Track “we have developed our new strategic framework based upon a process of research consultation and detailed discussions involving the Board, Staff Team and stakeholders. Our new strategy “Looking to the Future” provides our strategic and operating framework to guide the next stage of our growth and development. This will be supported by a detailed operational plan developed annually
In delivering the strategy we acknowledge the contribution and support of our Funders, Board, Volunteers, Staff, Families and Beneficiaries who together have influenced and supported our work. Central to this has been the voices of our service users, clients and families who are at the heart of our service development and delivery.

Outcomes that we are working towards over the period 2020-2023
Outcome 1: Children, Young People and their families are empowered to live beyond ABI.
Children, Young People and their families affected by ABI are empowered and enabled have greater access and benefit from appropriate services and support.
Outcome 2: Adults and their families are empowered to live beyond ABI.
To support individuals and their families living with ABI to have a greater sense of independence, self-confidence and self-esteem.
Outcome 3: Greater awareness of role of BIM (NI) and the services and support offered
BIM (NI) is recognised by statutory and voluntary partners as a key part of the landscape of ABI services.
BIM (NI) raises its public profile
Outcome 4: A stable and effective organisation
Building an income base that supports the delivery and development of services and maintains and builds our team (Staff, Board and Volunteers)
